4 Hands Furniture is Nicko Scott and Tim Sweet.
NICKO SCOTT: I’ve been living in and around the Grampians for nearly 40 years. I am passionate about the Grampians National park and have worked for Parks Victoria and as a tour guide for a number of years. I have been making one-off furniture for a few years, responding to personal requests from locals. I am a people person and love helping others. I will work with you to get the best personalised furniture for your needs.
TIM SWEET: Tim has more than twenty years of experience as a furniture maker. He finished his apprenticeship at the Melbourne Museum and worked as their senior cabinet maker for several years after finishing his study.
It was here that Tim learned and had the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills in furniture and cabinetry design, creation and restoration, using both traditional and contemporary techniques.
Tim has continued to develop and improve his expertise and skills and combine them with his unique eye for intuitive functionality and artistic flair.
